AirTerra in Partnership with The Alberta Biochar Initiative (ABI) Now has CFIA Approval to Sell Biochar in Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has now approved AirTerra’s Biochar product for use as a soil enhancement agent. This gives AirTerra the ability to sell a biochar product in the Canadian market opening up an entirely new avenue for AirTerra’s growth as a biochar promotion, sales, and distribution company in Canada. AirTerra plans to have product in Canadian garden centres by the spring of 2016. This complements AirTerra’s current work to promote clean efficient cooking stoves that generate biochar as a soil enhancement agent in Kenya and Malawi. See the ABI press release here.
